Rejected House 62 Special Election Headlines

As you know, the special election held today in the 62nd District of the Tennessee House of Representatives has been unofficially won by Republican Pat Marsh. To help him celebrate his victory, I have come up with a list of rejected headlines about the results.

  • Tennessee Political Reporters Relieved to Avoid Having Two Democratic House Members Named 'Ty Cobb'
  • Ty Cobb Strikes Out on First At-Bat
  • Rep. Ty Cobb (D-64) Frantically Calls Constituents, Assures That He Is Still In Office
  • Chris Who?
  • It's Pat, It's Pat! ("I hopped aboard that bus knowing that I was on the road to fame and fortune.")
  • (Readers will recall some mention of Marsh's political androgyny.)

    Which ones did I forget?

Oh, and I hope to have some serious commentary in the near future. Thanks for indulging me the moment of levity.

Serious commentary? Well by golly gosh darn it Im more than happy to oblige. Dim dare democrats shouldve highjacked a few wonder bread trucks full of sweets and bread. That wouldve got the job done for Mr Cobb. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go have lunch with Babe Ruth. He's thinking of running for county coroner in Florence next year and he wants to hire me as his consultant. I hope their serving seafood. After reading about the democrat debacle from last night I have a sudden craving for fried catfish and turnip greens.
