Dissecting the delegate selection process
I'm off to the Hamilton County Democratic Party's convention tomorrow, to bring you an inside look at the first round of national delegate selection.
The County Convention is the first step in a two-step process for selecting delegates to the Democratic National Convention. At this meeting, delegates will be elected to attend the Congressional District Conventions on Feb. 23.Delegates will be apportioned to each Democratic presidential candidate based on their performance in the Feb. 5, Presidential Preference Primary.
I'm sure I'm in for an education; I'm a little confused right now about how it works, so any information is bound to help me.
